Chef Hayat offers traditional Afghan food cooked with passion including Bolani, Burgers, Kabobs, Chicken Karahi, Veggie Korma, Samosas and Wraps.
Hayat moved to Utah in June of 2011 from Afghanistan. An absence of Afghan restaurants in Salt Lake City drove him to pursue his own food business.
Chef Hayat is still available for catering with his Afghan cuisine menu.

Beef Kofta Korma - tender meatballs made from ground beef, onions, cilantro, cumin seeds, and garbanzo beans simmered in a house made tomato sauce. Hayat's Grill Combo Dinners
Choose between the following entrée options for this week's Spice-to-Go. Each combo meal comes with a choice of the following; serves 1 individual.
Entrée: Beef Kofta Korma, Chicken Quarter Kebabs, or Cauliflower Korma (16oz)
Beef Kofta Korma - Hayat's beef kofta korma made from ground beef, onions, cilantro, cumin seeds, and garbanzo beans simmered in a house made tomato sauce. Comes served over qabili palaw; long grain basmati rice with shredded carrots, and golden raisins.
Chicken Quarter Kebabs - Chicken breast rubbed in a dry marinade overnight and grilled until golden brown. Comes served over qabili palaw; long grain basmati rice with shredded carrots, and golden raisins.
Cauliflower Korma - Fresh cauliflower roasted and simmered in a house made tomato-based sauce, seasoned with Hayat's favorite seasonings including cumin, cilantro, onions, and cayenne pepper. Comes served over qabili palaw; long grain basmati rice with shredded carrots, and golden raisins.
Appetizer: Chicken Samosas or Vegetarian Samosas (2pc): Deep fried & handmade, these samosas as are filled with shredded chicken, shredded cabbage, onions, cilantro, and potatoes. Each order comes with a side of spicy chutney sauce. *Dietary Information: Halal, dairy free, contains gluten.
